Founded in 1992 E.T. Precision Optics, Inc. produces precision component parts for a variety of industries including optical, medical, telecommunications, aerospace, and electronic. With our recent opening of our new 7,500 sq ft state-of-the-art automated production facility we now have over 22,000 sq ft of manufacturing in Rochester, NY. The addition of this new facility moves ET into a leading position of precision, tight tolerance manufacturing companies worldwide.
Our annual double-digit growth over the last five years can be attributed to our focus on understanding and meeting our customers’ requirements. Our customers rely on E.T. for quality parts delivered on time at a competitive cost.
During the past five years, E.T. has made significant investments in equipment and systems to ensure unmatched quality. Our dedication to continuous improvement strengthens our commitment to our ISO 9001-2000 Certification.
In 2007 we implemented a new ERP system that provides better scheduling visibility helping us to spot bottlenecks and capacity constraints months in advance. A manufacturing company that can see this type of problem ahead of time can overcome the problems by adding or adjusting resources. The result is that our customers get their parts when they need them.
In 2008 we are opening our Automated Systems Division to address the third request from our customers… lower prices. Our new division will not only help us to lower prices to our customers by optimizing the automation tools available today, but it will also provide an opportunity for new people to learn and help develop state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques throughout the company.
